Fame News!
Hi everyone it's good to be back online properly. After a stressful house move it took weeks to get back online. Thankfully I'd prepared a number of posts to go live so at least the Blog did continued while I was absent. However we are back and it's full steam ahead as we recap on a very busy period in Fame history, with lots of Magazine articles and TV appearances from 35 years ago.
As the 35th Anniversaries of the U.S. Season 2 broadcasts ends this month with "U.N. Week, the U.K. broadcasts start with "And The Winner Is, and "Your Own Song. To Celebrate the U.K. anniversaries we'll be posting the TV of Yore Witty Reviews of the season 2 episodes.
Stay tuned for some very exciting news!
This Month we start posting Fame Comic Picture Strips which were featured in the U.K. Magazine TV Tops, 35 years ago. We don't have them all so if anyone can help with any of the gaps then that would be great. Each week is a new 2 page story so the gaps won't cause any difficulty with the storyline. We will post them on the anniversaries of their appearances in the magazines.
Also 35 years ago Lori, Lee, Carlo, Debbie, Gene and the Fame Dancers were in the U.K. on the 2nd and final tour and took time out to visit Top Of The Pops. We will be posting each of their appearances. They are brief but a nice peace of nostalgia all the same.
Have a great month,
Mark
