One Dream - Kids From Fame

"One Dream " is an inspirational peace song which comes from the season 5 episode "His Majesty Donlon". Unfortunately there are no song credits at the end of the episode so it is Unknown who wrote the song.

The song is performed by Jesse Borrego, Nia Peeples, Loretta Chandler, Carlo Im,perato, Gene Anthony Ray, Cynthia Gibb and Billy Hufsey.  The video is filmed outside the U.N. Building in New York City.  Sadly, rain stopped filming and they were unable to shoot the required close ups of each of the cast members so these had to filmed back in L.A. Gene Anthony Ray was not available to film any close up.

The song was never released on a Fame Single or Album and so far has never been performed in any of the Fame concerts.

As We Stand Against The Wind,

We Become One Shining Light.

Here To Guide The Soldier Home From All Wars,

Here To Shine The Sailor In From The Storm.

One Dream For All The People,

One Silent Prayer,

There’s Gotta Be One World For All The People,

With Love Left To Spare.

There’s Gotta Be One,

One Dream To Take Us There.

We’re Like Children In the Dark,

Trying Not To Be Afraid.

But Together We Are Safe, We Are Strong,

And Together We Can Change What’s Gone Wrong.

One Dream For All The People,

One Silent Prayer,

There’s Gotta Be One World For All The People,

With Love Left To Spare.

There’s Gotta Be One Dream,

One Dream To Take Us There.

But Together We Are Safe, We Are Strong,

And Together We Can Change What’s Gone Wrong.

One Dream For All The People,

One Silent Prayer,

There’s Gotta Be One World For All The People,

With Love Left To Spare.

There’s Gotta Be One Place

Where Home Can Help Us,

Show That We Care..

There’s Gotta Be,

One Dream To Take Us There.

One World, One Dream

(It’s Gotta Be Here)

One Dream To Take Us There.

We're All The Same - Kids From Fame - Song of the Month

"We're All The Same " is an inspirational  song written by  Sue Sheridan & Laura Creamer in 1983 specially for "Fame".

It is sung by a choir including Cynthia Gibb, Billy Hufsey, Carlo Imperato and Valerie Landsburg. In the episode dancers and singers are struggling to work together. When Chris temporarily goes deaf and has to leave the school the song is used to bridge the gay between the hearing and the deaf as well as the singers and dancer. Everyone signs the lyrics throughout the songs as they realize everyone is the same but all in their own unique way.

Sadly, the song was never released on a Fame Single or Album and so far it has never been performed during a Fame concert.

"We All Can Be Dancers,
Each In Our Own Way.
Movement Is Expression
For Feelings In Our Hearts,
That Words Could Never Say.

And If You Need A Hand,
There's Always On Here.
No Reason To Ask,
And No Need To Fear.

We're All The Same, (All The Same)
When You Look Deep Inside
We're All Afraid Of Standing Alone.
We're All The Same, (All The Same)
In So Many Different Ways.
And One By One We'll Find Our Way Home,
Together, On Our Own.

We're All The Same, (ooh, ooh, ooh)
Oh Yes.
ooh, ooh, ooh
ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh ooh,
ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

We All Can Be Singers,
Each In Our Own Way.
We Reach Out In The Darkness,
We Touch With Just A Song,
That Turns The Night Into Day.

Won't You Come Join Our Chorus,
We'll Fill Up The Air,
With True Celebration,
For All That We Share.

Oh, We're All The Same, (All The Same)
When You Look Deep Inside.
We're All Afraid Of Standing Alone.
We're All The Same, (All The Same)
In So Many Different Ways.
And One By One We'll Find Our Way Home,
Together, On Our Own.

We, All Can Be Dancers,
We All Can Be Singers,
We're All the Same."
