Suddenly - Nia Peeples & Billy Hufsey - Song of the Month

"Suddenly" is a beautiful ballad written in 1984 by Billy Ocean and Keith Diamond. Originally it was released by Billy Ocean as the title track of his 1985 Album and released as the 3rd single from that album.

 In Fame it is performed by Nia Peeples and Billy Hufsey in the Season 5 episode "His Majesty Donlon", where Chris Donlon has replaced his lookalike, the Prince of Vatonia and the Princess just happens to be the spitting image of Nicole, who Chris secretly has a crush on.

The song was never released on a Fame Single or Album and so far has never been performed during any of the Fame Concerts.

The song was originally recorded by Billy Ocean in 1984 as the title track of his 5th album. The song was also released as a the 3rd single from the album in March/May 1985 and reached number 4 on both the U.K. and U.S. Singles charts.
