Anonymous said...: This is an interesting episode because there is a picture showing Nia Peeples standing next to Janet Jackson behind the scene but she was not in the actual episode itself. I think is because there was a lot going on with the storylines already so producers decided to introduced “Nicole” in the following episode instead. mark1814 said...: I think you may be referring to photos taken on location in New York City. They were filming scenes for Hot Times in the City Streets and the Mayor visited the shoot. Cast members who weren't in the scenes including Ann Nelson, Albert Hague, Carol Mayo Jenkins and Nia attended his visit. The original plan was to film a 2 part season opener on location in Italy and to Perform the Heart of Rock n Roll concert there too but for some reason the idea was scrapped and the episodes were changed to 2 individual ones. There is a scene in the 2nd Episode "Czech Mate" where Danny and Christ are on the school steps looking at the new female students arriving and say they love the first day of school. This is when we first see Nia. As we'd already had a whole episode where the kids were in school this scene never made any sense. I assume in the original plan it would have been part of the first episode and we would have seen Chris' girlfriend arrive in the first episode too.; 9 August 2025 at 15:54

Where we could discuss about a specific episode. Also, the difference of filming the exterior of the School of the Arts on location and filming the exterior on a sound stage and hoping the fans will not catch on.

On a side note, I want to bring up Keith Coogan who appeared on Fame in episode “Ending On A High Note” Season 2. He was in the last episode of Chips “The Return of the Brat Patrol”. The interior of ‘The School of the Arts’ Fame Sets was used for this episode. You can viewed that episode for free on Archive.Org. Just look up Chips and scroll through Season 6 until you see “ The Return of the Brat Patrol.” I hope you will share it on your site.; 9 August 2025 at 23:36

Whilst I remember watching CHiPs as a kid I don't recall seeing any episodes after Larry Wilcox left, not sure if they were even broadcast in the U.K. So that's great Trivia that they used the school set. They didn't even try to disguise it too much. i will add it to the site. I was just looking for an Episode of CHiPs the other day as P.R. Paul featured in it but couldn't find it. I see that the Internet Archive has a copy so thanks for helping me find it.; 11 August 2025 at 12:29
