Barry Fasman and Steve Sperry specifically for Fame it tells the story
of "Othello" in a 3 minute pop song.
The song was popular and released on the
Kids From Fame Album in July 1982 and as one of the 4 songs on the Kids From
Fame Flip Hits Cassette in 1983. It was also a highlight of the 1982 and 1983
live tours and features on the Kids From Fame Live album.
The song was also released as an Instrumental version on the
Fame Karaoke Album in the 00s and features on the 2004 CD Ultimate
Fame.
Part of the song was performed at the Fame U.K. Reunion concerts in 2019 and the whole song performed by Tom Urie, with support from Loretta Chandlor and Carlo Imperato in 2022.
