Face To Face - Valerie Landsburg & Lee Curreri - Song Of The Week

The lyric "I never used to share my problems, Now I look to you for help" comes from the season 2 song "Face To Face". Written by Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo it is performed by Valerie Landsburg and Lee Curreri.

I used to sit there right beside you
Knowing there was distance in between
So much unsaid locked inside you
It never took much to cause a scene
Neither one would listen
Each too proud to come clean
We used to turn away
Look how far we've come
To where we are today
 Face to face
No more running from the love we need to share

Face to face
There's no faking what you're feeling when you're there
Face to face
Every struggle must begin before it ends
We went in fighting
We came out friends

I never used to share my problems
Now I look to you for help
Seems the more I learn about you
The more I find myself
Anytime I'm hurting
You can always tell
Your love will always stay with me
Now that we've become truly family

Face to face
No more running from the love we need to share
Face to face
There's no faking what you're feeling when you're there

Face to face
Every struggle must begin before it ends
We went in fighting
 Face to face
No more running from the love we need to share

Face to face
There's no faking what you're feeling when you're there

Face to face
Every struggle must begin before it ends
We went in fighting
We came out friends

Your love will always stay with me
Now that we've become truly family
We came out friends

Lyric of the Week

Picture of the Week - Michael Cerveris

Cynthia Gibb - Little Lamb

In 1993 Cynthoa Gibb appeared in the TV movie "Gypsy" with Bette Midler. She performed "Little Lamb" in the film and it appeared on the Soundtrack album. Written by Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne.

Carrie Hamilton - Never Forget - 1988

Carrie Hamilton released a single in 1988 titled "Never Forget" which she wrote and it appeared on the Soundtrack to "Tokyo Pop" which Carrie starred in.

Sunrise, city skies

Never thought I'd ever write this song

But I'll find Peace of mind

Back in the place where I belong

And I will never forget the way you made me feel

You set me free with a lovin' touch so real

The way you held out your net to catch my falling soul

Oh Hiro, you loved me just enough to let me go

Alone I'd given up hope

Watchin' as the days just passed me by

But fate had something else in mind

I knew it when I saw you in the corner of my eye

And I will never forget the way you made me feel

You set me free with a lovin' touch so real

The way you held out your net to catch my falling soul

Oh Hiro, you loved me just enough to let me go

I just couldn't see

Thought I'd sung out of key

Spent my life hanging in the shadows

But I found harmony of my own melody

If you like you can sing it with me

C'mon shout it with me

This time I'm doin' it right

If you could see me now you'd be so proud

I've found I'm fine and winning the fight

But everywhere I turn I see your face in the crowd

And I will never forget the way you made me feel

You set me free with a lovin' touch so real

The way you held out your net to catch my falling soul

Oh Hiro, you loved me just enough to let me go
