Messages from the cast about the Concert:

Cynthia Gibb:

"Thanks, Paul, for getting this off the ground. Miss you and Joy. I hope we can be in the same place soon."

"Gorgeous piano and arrangement credit goes to Larry Edoff and videographer-extraordinaire is Lee Norman. Can you guess where we shot it (while social distancing?!)"

Valerie Landsburg:

Thank you to Paul Rosenbaum, for putting this together.
Paul has been my friend, ski teacher, brother, collaborator, the guy who extracted and protected me in my drinking days..he has been a constant in my life since the first day of shooting - in the bus scene with Lori Singer when we shot the pilot in December 1980.
Love you and the boss more than words could ever express
So amazing for me to see these folks that I love beyond description in this. I cried through all of these. I love you so much my FAME brothers and sisters. As always I am proud to be in your company.

Carlo Imperato:

Hoping this brings a little sunshine on such a cloudy day.

Lee Curreri:

Thanks, Fame cast, for contributing to this, and thanks Paul and Joy Rosenbaum for putting this all together! Love you all!

Loretta Chandler:

"Excellent"

"So sorry I missed the broadcast. Really turned out great. Just too many people close to me have died from this virus.... I’m in a better place now. Thank you for the encouragement."

Paul's Wife Joy Rosenbaum posted this message to all fans who were concerned about Nia and Carlo filming together:

"Nia and Carlo worked on their video safely before the lockdown guidelines were enforced😊

Friends of Fame Living Room Concert

In these difficult times the Friends of Fame have put together a living room Concert for everyone. Enjoy.

The cast said:

"This unprecedented time in our history that continues to unfold globally is devastating, frightening, stressful and depressing. So, we thought we’d weave a “concert” together for you, in the hopes that this will lift up your spirits in some small way. We also hope this will serve as a big THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts to all first responders and essential workers globally who are enabling us to survive and get by with our daily lives.

Stay home, stay strong, stay focused on the blessings of today and be well.
WE ARE ALL ONE. Love...Carlo, Cynthia, Erica, Jesse, Lee, Nia, P.R. and Valerie."

Trivia of the week - Michael Cerveris

Michael Cerveris Played Ian Ware the new British Kid who Joined Fame at the start of Season 6. It has been stated that Michael worked with a dialect coach to help him with the accent. Personally I have always hated his accent. It's too much Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins for me. However, even before he had the training he sent to his audition and did a British accent there and the producers loved it!
Here's and extract from Michael Hoey's Inside Fame Book.
