Fame Trivia - CHiPs Filming on the Fame Set 1983

Did you watch CHiPs back in the 80s . The final episode "Return of the Brat Patrol"  which aired in 1983 featured a story line taking place in a School. Both shows were filmed at MGM Studios and CHiPs used the "Fame" school set for the interiors.

They added a couple of plants and a few chairs, along with a few different posters. Also the lockers look dirtier but apart from that it was the same.

This would have been during Fame's Second season and Keith Coogan who appeared in the  "Fame" episode "Ending On a High Note" that season also appears in this CHiPs episode.

Thanks to Geremi who shared this information.

Standing at the edge of time 'bout to lose my mind,

'Cause you tried to take him away from me.

I won't let it be.

You just walk into my life trying to take away my only prize.

But you better give credit 'cause his love is right here for me.

You don't stand another chance.

You don't stand another chance.

You don't stand another chance.

You don't stand another chance.

He belongs to me, just wait and see.

Take him in his arms and give him love,

Not too much of me.

Nothing you can do or say to make him look your way.

So you better give credit

'Cause it's gonna come walking my way.

You don't stand another chance.

You don't stand another chance.

(You don't stand it, baby.) You don't stand.

(You don't stand another chance.) You don't stand.

You don't stand another chance. (Oooh!)

Ah, ah, ah, ah.

You don't stand.

You don't stand another chance.

Sit and wait at home 'bout to leave me alone.

(I know, baby.)

You'll be with him when he's up not down

To keep him on the ground.

Let me tell you something, it's true.

He's not in love with you.

So you better give credit

'Cause it's nothing coming down your way.

Not a chance, baby.

You don't stand another chance.

(Stand it, baby.) You don't stand, baby.

You don't stand another chance. (Oooh!)

You don't stand, baby. (You don't stand another chance.)

You don't stand. (Oooh!)

(You don't stand) Well, you know somebody's gotta lose.

We all can't win.

(A chance.) Maybe next time, okay?

(Oooh!)

You guys are confusing. (Laughing)

You don't stand.

You don't stand another chance.

(You don't stand it, baby.) You don't stand, baby.

(You don't stand another chance.) You don't stand

(You don't stand another chance.) Another chance.

(You don't stand another chance.) You don't stand.

You don't stand another chance.

(You don't stand it, baby.) You don't stand, baby.

You don't stand another chance.

Blast The Music - Janet Jackson & Billy Hufsey - Song of the Month

"Blast the Music" is an uptempo pop song written by James Patrick Dunne and Elizabeth Bradley. The song comes from the Season 4 episode "Nothing Personal", where it is performed twice, once as an edited solo for Billy and then in full as a duet between Janet Jackson and Billy Hufsey.

Billy also performed the song in full as a solo on the "Kids Are People Too" TV Show in 1985.

Sadly, at this point in time the song has never been featured on a Fame album or been performed in a Fame concert.

It’s Friday Night and I Close The Books

I put this week to bed.

Schools got me half crazy,

it’s pounding in my head.

Cut the noose around my neck,

Kick off my school shoes.

I’m Shifting into over drive,

It’s Time to light My fuse.

Somebody, Somebody, Somebody Blast the Music.

Break the tunes and blow the roof sky high.

Somebody, Somebody, Somebody Blast the Music.

Keep on dancing past the morning light.

Make it last all night.

Counting down the  seconds til, Holding you so tight.

Rescued in the nick of time, thank God it’s Friday Night.

Hand me down my dancing shoes,

Hurry up, don’t wait.

This heart has waiting much too long,

It’s Time To Celebrate.

Somebody, Somebody, Somebody Blast the Music.

Break the tunes and blow the roof sky high.

Somebody, Somebody, Somebody Blast the Music.

Keep on dancing past the morning light.

Make it last all night.
