"Here I Go Again, Losing My Head Like A Fool Again.
Wishing That All The Pain We're Feeling Would End.
Longing To Find The Comfort Of A Friend.

Here We Are Again, All Of The Answers Far From View,
One Thing We Know We've Got For Sure, Is Me And You.

Haven't We Always Seen Each Other Through?

Turn To Me
You Know My Door Is Always Open.
Turn To Me
I'm The One Who'll Always Care.

I'll Be Right By Your Side.
When Your Lost I'll Be Your Guide.
Turn To Me."

David Reardon - Fame Charatcers

 David Reardon,

Tall, blond, athletic with blue eyes is his early 30s David Reardon comes from a big Southern family. In “Consequences” he tells Elizabeth he was always fighting with his Brothers when he was growing up.

In his 20s he was estranged from his Father, Tom Reardon and they didn’t see each other for 6 years. In this time David got married and divorced. David father had wanted his son to go into business with him but that would have meant giving up his acting career and this drove a wedge between father and son. Tom tried reaching out but David ignored his calls until fellow teacher Gregory Crandall died in “A Tough Act To Follow”, then he finally agreed to meet and talk with his father.

He lives alone in an apartment in New York City. He’s an actor but struggling to make ends meet so turns to teaching acting at the High School for the Arts.  He has a good sense of humour and is passionate about his work, doing his best to help the kids. Frequently the kids go to him for advice.
He is seen first in the episode “And The Winner Is?” although he had recently started working at the school before we see him.   In his first episode while fighting for Bruno to be in charge of the production of his own play, David revealed that he likes to shake things up a little from time to time.

He enjoys most sports and plays handball in the school basement to stay in shape, as seen in “Beginnings”. In “Love Is The Question” we learn he was on his college water polo team and we see him  help Leroy and Danny coach a Basketball team in “Ending On A High Note”.
He has a passion for TV Trivia as seen in “Star Quality” and writes poetry as seen in “Friendship Day”.

David’s last episode is “Indian Summer” where we discover Holy has a crush on him. We don’t see or hear anything about the character again after that.

David Reardon can be seen in the following episode:

Your Own Song
Hail To The Chief
Consequences
A Way of Winning
Catch a Falling Star
Indian Summer

“Hot Times in the City” is about a young man in NYC who debates the agonizing question of whether to seek revenge on his brother’s murderer and must weigh the effects of his choices on his loved ones and on his life’s trajectory. This song’s narrative eerily reflects the dark global isolation COVID-19 has subjected us all to. May we collectively watch over one another and choose the right path towards light, kindness & love. Hot Times In The City The City sleeps but I am wide awake Trying to find the answers as to why my heart aches Everybody’s getting stoned but I have had enough I’ve been Napoleon all my life and girl I’m not that tough I know this town is sucking me dry And unlike my brother before me I want to get out alive Driving a truck or opening a door Can’t be what my maker had in store When you’re trapped in a union town They make the money good so you stick around You get your book when you reach eighteen And then you shape the hall forever it seems I’m passing tattered mattress on fire escapes Steams rising beneath my feet to heaven’s gate Gotta do one thing before I leave Prove to everyone I’m the man I’m supposed to be I’m walking to meet my baby underneath the bridge I’m gonna take her to a place she’s never been She’ll walk with me where the losers always win CHORUS And it’s hot times in the city tonight All the fans are broken and the people don’t act right You’d better watch your back or you may never see daylight Because it’s hot times in the city tonight Hot times in the city tonight Hot times in the city tonight When I see my girl she’s crying tears of fear Before I say hello she says “Hand it over here.” Then she reaches in and pulls the gun out of my jeans With this piece I should do the right thing It looks so peculiar laying in her hands With it she can kill just like any man Then she grabs my shoulder and looks me straight in the eye Says “I know you loved him but let the past lie.” I’ll never forget that night I heard my brother’s scream I woke up to the sound of police sirens I threw on some pants and I ran down the stairs They were pulling a white sheet over his red hair The city took Bobby’s body away Only the white chalk and red concrete remain A cold reminder not to make a sound Even if you saw what went down My mind snapped back as the wind hit my face My girl said “If you’re a man you’ll take me from this place.” We headed to the train for a cross country run CHORUS And it’s hot times in the city tonight All the fans are broken and the people don’t act right You’d better watch your back or you may never see daylight Because it’s hot times in the city tonight Hot times in the city tonight Hot times in the city tonight Song Produced By: Bill Angarola & Paul Nose Written by: P.R. Valerie Landsburg Discusses "Turn To Me" Trivia of the Week

On Turn To Me:

"As you know I became the ballad singer of the show, there were a lot of songs. I listen to this and I can hear my voice maturing as I learned to work in a recording studio. This was great with a hand held camera going around while I sang, The high notes were hard to reach I can actually sing it now better I think. My voice was still very young I was 25. It’s always funny to think this was always lip synching. I learned the best way was always to sing full out while the playback was going. Here is how it worked. You got a demo tape on Monday with a lyric sheet. Tuesday you recorded a temporary track, they would finished all the instrumentation without you and then Thursday you recorded and Friday you shot it. What an education."
