Renuions - 35th Anniversary

29th April is the 35th Anniversary of the very first broadcast in the U.S. of  "Reunions".

When Mrs Berg tells Shorfosky she has a message from an old friend of his who is town

Shorofsky is hesitate about meeting his friend and becomes distracted in class.

Which is noticed by his students.

However when his friend Frieda actually turns up at the school, Shorfosky is forced to face up to his past.

Meanwhile Miss Sherwood struggles to get her class to take the Diary of Ann Frank seriously until she asks Frieda to talk to the class.

Lydia asks Danny and Leroy to buy the props for the upcoming school production.

But when the props they buy turn out to be stolen they are left with no props and very little money so Danny turns pool hustler.

Also Leroy is struggling to get the money together to get a ticket to fly his Mother into town and the hope is Danny will make enough money to buy the props and the plane ticket.

However when Danny fails Mr Shorofsky comes to the rescue to reunite Leroy and his Mother.

Fame News! Fame Reunion - Los Angeles - July 2017

The Fame 35th Anniversary celebrations begin! Hopefully this is just the beginning! 


Jesse Borrego announced on the Facebook Fame Discussion Page yesterday that there will be a Fame Reunion in L.A. in aid of the Actors fund in July.

Jesse Said: "FAME REUNION in LOS ANGELES for the Actors Fund!! Just so you know July 13th the Fame Cast will ReUnite for a Musical Night at the Troubadour!!"

We'll try and get more details soon.

Sadly Kids from Fame Media wont be unable to make this event so we'll be counting on our American friends to bring us video footage and pictures.

Ger Onlus - #fameforkids2017

In 2015 members of the cast for the 1980 TV Series Fame performed together for a charity concert to support GER ONLUS in Salsomaggiore Terme in Italy. The event was a huge success helping deprived children in Medellin. A Big Finish - 35th Anniversary

15th April is the 35th Anniversary of the very first broadcast in the U.S. of  "A Big Finish".

Miss Sherwood sees a dog in the school.

But she is puzzled when the janitor  O'Banyan lies and says he doesn't see it.

Does is allergic to dogs and this makes Sherwood even more suspicious as to why the janitor lied.

Doris too becomes suspicious and so enlists Bruno

and Danny to go and investigate the janitors office.

There they not only discover the dog but that Mr O'Banyan used to be a dancer. They also  find that another old time dancer Birdie Whelan is living in the janitors office as he can't afford to live anywhere else.

The kids decide to put on a benefit to raise money for the former stars so they can afford somewhere proper to live.

However they face expulsion from the school if they break the rule about giving money to a school employee.

 Meanwhile Mr Shorofsky frustrates Lydia when he wants to store his table tennis table in her dance rehearsal room.
