CDs - Merchandise of the Month


 There are currently four official CDs featuring music from the TV Series.




The first CD to be released was "Best of Fame" which came out in 1984 in Germany. 

Released on RCA Records Catalogue Number PD84961.


                                      

  

In 2000 the original Kids From fame Album was released on CD for the first time. Released on RCA Records Catalogue Number ND90427

Fans hoped that the other original Kids from fame albums would follow but that sadly wasn't to be.

The next release was Ultimate Fame.

The 2004 CD Compilation album brought together a best of collection of Songs from the original Fame Movie, Fame TV Series and Fame The Musical. With the lion's share coming from the TV series. 


Released In the U.K. and Ireland it had sleeve notes by Lee Curreri and as a bonus included 2 solo Lee Curreri Fame songs "Murphy Blues " and "False Alarm" neither of which had been released previously.

The final CD is the Fan release of the first U.K. Reunion concerts titled Live in Liverpool. Which was released last year as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations.




Released by CD Licious catalogue number CDL002 it brought Fame's greatest hits and some fan favourites that had never been previously released together and is a great souvenir of the Reunion.



The First three CDs can often be found on Ebay and Amazon and the Live In Liverpool CD can be bought from CD Licious.
