The Home Front Script Extended & Deleted Scenes - Trivia of the Month

"The Home Front" is also known as "I Never Danced For My Father" (which was a title that was used in Season 4) and "Personal Foul".

The episode features the same student evaluations interviews we first saw in the season 1 episode "Tomorrows Farewell". Just like that previous episode the interviews are improvised The script just says allow 1 1/2 pages for the scenes. The episodes features interviews with Doris, Holly and Alicia. However the script doesn't have a scene for Alicia but does have ones for Chris and Danny.

The script also has a whole deleted storyline for Danny where another actor has the same as him and he's looking to change his. Part of this story is reused in the season 5 episode  "Leroy and the Kid".

There is also a cut part of the script where Morloch is trying to arrange a bowling night for the teachers so he doesn't have to spend his birthday alone, which actually would have rounded out this part of the story.

In addition there are scenes with Leroy, Doris and Lydia that give more substance to Chris' story and how he might be kicked out of school.
