Damaged - Bonnie Bramlett - Song of the Week

"Damaged" comes from the season 6 episode "Fame and Fortune". Written by Denny Sheridan and Jonah Kolson, it is performed by Bonnie Bramlett. I've edited it as best that I can. The song is sang in multiple pieces, some of it badly as the charatcer was having difficulties and then some of it talked over!!

"I've Been Put Down, Pushed Round,
Kicked In The Gut,
Taken On A Ride And For Who Knows What.

I've Been Damaged Truly, Damaged,
Sincerely Damaged,
But I'm Alright Now.

I Was Thrown To The Ground,
With My Hopes And My Dreams.
I just Picked 'Em Up, Shock 'Em Off,
And Stuck 'Em In My Jeans.

I've Been Damaged Truly, Damaged,
Sincerely Damaged,
But I'm Alright Now.

I've Been Damaged Truly, Damaged,
Sincerely Damaged,
But I'm Alright Now.

Shaken and Shattered,
Told Myself Nothing Really Mattered.
Tears In The Wind,
Torn And Tattered,
But I'm Alright, I'm Alright.

I've Done The Balancing Act,
On The Edge Of A Knife.
I Got Lucky In Love,
For Once In My Life.

It's All Said And Done,
I've Been Blessed Some How,'
'Cause I Shared My Tears
And I Can Laugh About It Now.

I've Been Damaged Truly, Damaged,
Sincerely Damaged,
But I'm Alright Now.

Oh I've Been Damaged Truly, Damaged,
Sincerely Damaged,
But I'm Alright Now."
