On 29th March 1983, the eve of the second Kids From Fame U.K. tour the cast appeared on the Russell Harty chat show. Russell catches the cast, the dancers and the Waters in rehearsals at the Blackpool Opera House, where they chat and perform songs from the show. Featuring Debbie Allen, Lee Curreri, Carlo Imperato, Gene Anthony Ray and Lori Singer.

On the U.K. album chart for 26th March 1983 the Kids From Fame Live album drops to number 82. On the U.K. singles chart  Friday Night Live goes down 2 places 1 to number  89. It looked like that single wouldn't chart any higher.

On the U.K. album chart for 19th March 1983  the Kids From Fame album has left the chart, while the Kids From Fame Live album goes up to number 53. On the U.K. singles chart  Friday Night Live goes up to number  87.

When You're Young/Fame Live Medley - Debbie Allen

 "When You're Young /Fame" medley comes from the Kids From Fame Concerts 1982 /1983 and was the opening number of the shows. Sadly it was edited from the live album, video and TV specials.

This is the rehearsal performance which was broadcast on U.K. TV during the Russell Harty Show Kids from Fame special in March 1983.
