It's a shorter Month again as we head off on holiday. So there's no real theme just a collection of video material I had on the computer, ranging from interviews, acting clips etc..
Janet's Back!
Rumours have been going round that Janet Jackson was working on a new album. Janet quashed those rumours a few months back when she stated if she was doing something new we would hear it from her lips first. Last month the rumours started again that Janet would release a new album on July 10th on Atlantic records. Then cryptic messages started to appear on Twitter from Janet's long time musical collaborator Jimmy Jam fuelling speculation that indeed something was going to happen. Then on May 16th, Janet's 49th birthday she made a statement via a video. Indeed she is working on a new album, tour and movement for 2015. Seems like there could be a new Rhythm Nation in the pipeline!

Erica Gimpel posted on Facebook on what would have been Gene Anthony Ray's 53rd birthday on May 24th.
Hello Beautiful People,
There are moments in life that make you pause and as this day May 24th comes to a close I am reminded that Gene Anthony Ray would have been 53 today... I thought about the qualities I admired in Gene... his fearlessness in his expression as a person, in his dancing and his raw fierce talent... I am grateful I got to share some moments in this life with him...
Today I also want to mention and honor the passing of Ann Meara and acknowledge the great gift she gave to our world... Her depth, her heart, her humor and her humanity always resonated in her work . When I saw the scene with Anne Meara and Gene Anthony Ray in the film version of FAME they blew me away... Their raw presence on film together was truly powerful...
In honor and remembrance... Peace.
