Fame News January 2022

Happy New Year Everyone. 

2022 is a big year for "Fame" as we celebrate the shows 40th Anniversary! Who can believe it's even been 40 years since we all tuned in to that very first episode?

We hope everyone got the Fame U.K. Reunion 2022 tickets they want for Christmas and are counting down until the Fameily is all together again. Tickets are still on sale via the Fame U.K. Reunion Website.

We'll be celebrating all the season 1 episodes on their 40th anniversary broadcasts with links to their pages on out new website but "Alone In The Crowd" is our episode of the month.

The Janet Jackson Documentary airs over 2 nights from 28th January on A&E. We spoke a number of times to the researchers who were hoping to include a segment on Fame.  

Now 80s broadcast stopped just before Christmas. According to Fame U.K. Reunion broadcast will continue in January and there will be some surprises too. Exact date not known yet. As soon as we know we'll pass it on.

Cynthia Gibb posted about her Journey to Fame work shop in Italy on 17th & 18th April 2022:

Cynthia said: "Come to Rome for Easter! Join Giovanna Gattuso and I for a vocal workshop in the heart of the city. There will be plenty of time to sing, eat, and sight-see in one of the most amazing places in the world. You'll even have time to go to mass at the Vatican on Easter Sunday, which is an awe-inspiring event. Hope to see you there...."

You Tube have removed Season 1 and most of season 2 & 3 from the  Kids from Fame Media Channel. Season 4, 5 and 6 currently remain and do the episodes dubbed into French, Spanish and Italian.  Season 1 and 2 are available on the Kids from Fame Media Daily MotionChannel

Sad News, Fame Music producer, writer and conductor Barry Fasman died after a long battle with cancer on 26th November 2021 aged 75. Rest in Peace Barry.

More sad news, Fame Guest star Betty White died on New Years Eve, just 18 days before her 100th Birthday. Rest in Peace Betty.
