Trivia of the Week
The Live in Israel episode was broadcast in America on 5th November 1983. However in the U.K. the BBC decided not to broadcast the episode as part of Season 3 in 1984. Possibly because they had broadcast the Cast live in concert at the Royal Albert Hall the previous year and felt it was too similar or possibly because they weren't happy with the production values.
It didn't receive a U.K. broadcast until the Winter of 1992 when it was broadcast on the Children's Channel.
In The Netherlands it was broadcast on March 3rd 1984. In Belgium it was broadcast on 28th April 1988 and in France 25th January 1989.

Trivia of the Week
While on Tour in the U.K.during the Spring of 1983 Lori Singer learnt that she had the part of Ariel Moore in the film Footloose. Madonna had auditioned for the role but Lori was the one who was successful.
In dilemma Debbie Allen encouraged Lori to quit Fame and take her chance in the Movie. Lori left the tour on April 15th and her last performance was at The Coliseum in Cornwall, where the cast covered her in custard pies at the end. The tour still had 2 U.K. dates to play and then was off to Europe and Israel.
