Loretta Chandler on Stretching the Truth - Trivia of the week

In this scene, Dusty is caught stretching the truth. I have to admit, I had a problem with the truth growing up. I never felt I was enough being me, until my favorite music teacher busted me on a lie I told and made me see, it wasn't necessary. She reminded me that was already special and gifted enough and that my talent that would take me any where I wanted to go. I changed that day and started to believe in myself more. Still have doubts, but her words come back to me and encourage me to give whatever it is that I have... it's enough.

Looks like playtime is over,
All my innocence is gone.
I looked over my shoulder
and saw apart of me move on.

Comes a time you come of age,
Hold your breath, turn the page
On your own, around the bend.
Welcome to the mystery of childhood's end.

I need someone to turn to,
I could use a little help.
Maybe now when you learn to
Get the most out of yourself.

Comes a time you come of age,
Hold your breath, turn the page
On your own, around the bend.
Welcome to the mystery of childhood's end.

Welcome to the mystery of childhood's end.

Loretta Chandler on the Dubbing Process - Trivia of the Week

In this scene, Dusty stands up to her father. The hotel room was a box the tech crew built from scratch and in the first half of this scene I was asked to report to the dubbing studio to re-record what Dusting said when passing out invitations. The dubbing studio at MGM is a large sound stage. An engineer is in the control room above me on the left and a large screen of the scene to be dubbed was playing in front of me. Each line that needs to be dubbed is marked with three clicks then you speak the line.

The Secret - Carlo Imperato - Song of the Week

The Secret - Carlo Imperato Song of the Week

The secret of life is in the living
Not just standing there and watching life go bye
And the secret of love is in the giving
You've got to open up by reaching deep inside
You know it's worth a try

The secret of life
Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love
When you're giving love away

The secret of joy is in the knowing
That everything will somehow turn out right
The secret turns out to be as simple
As living life just one day at a time
Love will make it rhyme
 The secret of life

Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love

When you're giving love away

The secret of life
Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love
When you're giving love away

Fame Producer Michael McGreevey Talks about "No Feelings" from "Ian's Girl"

Fame Producer Michael McGreevey in a reply to Michael Cerveris on Facebook Post about the song "No Feelings" from the Season 6 episode "Ian's Girl" says:

"You can thank Ira Behr for this episode, Michael. For three years, Ira had indoctrinated me in the Sex Pistols. Once "Sid and Nancy" premiered and we had created your character, Ian Ware, Ira finally got his wish of featuring some punk rock on the show. He and I watched with glee as the "No Feelings" number was filmed. And you nailed it, my friend. Absolutely brilliant. I recall my 6-year-old son, Matt, watched this particular episode with rapt attention. Ironically, 33 years later he is the General Manager of the major punk label, Epitaph Records. Your performance obviously had an impact on my son."
