Class Act script Extended and Deleted Scene
The opening of the episode is supposed to be taking place at a Gas Station, where Lydia and Elizabeth are taking Lydia's bike to have the time fixed. It actually makes more sense of the conversation they are having but presumably got cut due to time. The opening dialogue from the Radio Dj is longer in the script and we establish it's Saturday morning.
Part of the Conversation between Lydia and Sherwood is cut in the Episode.

Trivia - Valerie Landsburg "Puddin"!
During the Online Audience with Valerie Landsburg in February 2023, Valerie talked about Fame guest stars and mentioned Glynn Turman who appeared in the season 2 episode "Class Act". Valerie said she loved working with him and years later would direct in a play.
She also said that he would always call her "Puddin'". In the episode "Class Act" he also uses the word when addressing Doris. It's not in the script so presumably he just adlibbed in the scene.
