My Guy - Magazine of the Month

 

My Guy was a British magazine, aimed at teenager girls and published in the UK weekly on a Saturday by IPC Magazines Limited.

  The magazine featured Pop, Fashion, Advice and photo stories and was the first teenage girls magazine in Britain to publish photo-stories.

 My Guy was launched on the 4th March 1978.

In 1982 and 1983 My Guy featured the cast of Fame a number of times, mainly focusing on the male stars, particularly Gene who readers voted 3rd for having a beautiful body (behind 2 members of Duran Duran).  Those same readers voted "Starmaker" as the 3rd most hated single of the year!
