Merchandise of the Month - DVDs Part 1

 

Seasons 1 and 2 have officially been released on DVD. Season 1 was originally released in the U.S. in 2005, followed by the U.K. in 2006 and other European Countries in 2007. 

UK Season 1:

Season 1 of Fame was first released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Region 2 DVD in the U.K. in early 2006. The packaging was completely different to the releases in the U.S. and rest of the World and actually featured a cast picture from season 2 featuring Morgan Stevens. A number of the other pictures also originated from Season 2.

There were no special features on the Discs but the release came in 2 versions:

The Standard 4 set DVD and

The Limited Edition 4 Set DVD with bonus Ultimate Fame CD, which had previously been released in 2004.

U.S. Season 1

Season 1 of Fame was first released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Region 1 DVD in the U.S. on 1st November 2005.

There were no special features on the Standard 4 DVD set  but it was rumoured at the time that MGM/Sony were hoping to add the 2003 BBC Cast Reunion but for whatever reason this fell through.
