A Special Place Script Extended and Deleted Scenes

 The opening scene is slightly extended in the script as Lydia asks Miss Posdorfer a question.

A large section setting up the Bruno's Song has been stolen subplot doesn't appear in the episode. 

The script has a slight extension to the scene between Crandall and Danny discussing Mark Twain.

The scene where Lydia tells Sherwood of the suspicions that a teacher maybe fired is extended in the script.

The scene where Lydia Crandall and Sherwood talk to Forbes is extended in the script.

There is a deleted scene between Bruno and his father, who doesn't appear in the actual episode at all. 

A further deleted scene on the Bruno subplot takes place in the chemistry lab.

The scene after Shorofsky breaks up the fight is extended in the script.
