Fame News January 2023!

Happy 2023 Everyone! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year Holiday period.  We hope that everyone received what they were hoping for.

I finally got my hands on one of the Black and Red satin Fame Jackets. Love it.

Here's wishing everyone a wonderful Fame filled year.

As the 40th Anniversary year comes to an end, we are reflecting on what a wonderful celebratory year its been.  Lots of pictures of our wonderful cast members together enjoying each other's company at Events and Reunions both on TV  and at the U.K. celebrations.

I hope everyone got a chance to take part in the Reunion concerts, either in person or in the streaming events. Hopefully there will be more Reunion Events to come.

We've had new music from PR and Cynthia and the promise of new music from Valerie. We also have the promise of the Fameless TV Show featuring PR, Carlo and Lee and a Fame Documentary that Debbie Allen is involved in, so lots to look forward to.

The 40th may be coming to an end but we don't want people to feel that the celebrations are over. Here at Kids From Fame Media we are celebrating Fame every day of every year. So we've slightly updated our logos adding the new Fameily Trust badge, showing we are apart of an organisation who supports and showcases Fame and it's wonderful cast.

We've also updated our post Format and each month we'll be celebrating a number of regular features. This month it is:

Episode and Script of the Month: The Home Front from Season 3
Song of the Month: I Still Believe In Me
Cast Member of the Month: Albert Hague
Character of the Month: Benjamin Shorofsky
Crew Member of the Month: Christopher Gore
Magazine of the Month: Titbits
Merchandise of the Month: Shower Curtains

Debbie Allen spoke to ExtraTV.com about the loss of Irene Cara and mentioned the Fame documentary they were working on. While provide more details about this as soon as we know anything:

Debbie recalled her early memories of Cara, adding, “She played Carnegie Hall when she was like 13. She’s a genius talent her whole life.”

“I just wanted more from her,” Allen went on. “I felt so hurt to know we lost her. I didn’t know she had been ill… We are planning a big documentary on ‘Fame’ and certainly she was going to be a part of that. But that hurt to lose her.”

Of Irene’s legacy, Debbie noted, “She’s given us so much to remember forever… She inspired millions of young people. She wasn’t just on camera, was writing music, she was creating. She had input in her life.”

All the episodes are now back online. However in an attempt to keep them as hidden as possible they are not public videos, so you won't be able to search for them on the video sites. The only way to find them is access them using our Fame TV Series Archive Site.

New Year Wishes from Billy Hufsey:

A New Year is like a blank book, and the pen is in your hands. It is your chance to write a beautiful story for yourself.  As the New Year approaches us with hopes anew, here is to wishing you and your family a wonderful year ahead.

As the New Year dawns, I hope it is filled with the promises of a brighter tomorrow. Every end marks a new beginning. Keep your spirits and determination unshaken, and you shall always walk the glory road. With courage, faith and great effort, you shall achieve everything you desire. I wish you a Happy New Year.

On the road to success, the rule is always to look ahead. May you reach your destination and may your journey be wonderful.

No one can go back in time to change what has happened, so work on your present to make yourself a wonderful future.

You’re supposed to let go of the past and start off new. You’re supposed to forgive all those who have hurt you and be open to new relationships, with open arms. End each year with a few good lessons and start the new one by showing that you have learned  the lessons of the past well. The New Year has brought another chance for us to set things right and to open up a new chapter in our lives. I wish you love, health and peace!!!
