In this scene, I distinctly recall Carrie not feeling well, but she pushed through and we go the the shot. I also personally think this scene gave the writers the idea that Dusty REALLY likes Jesse, or maybe it was this Los Angeles news articles. Reporters loved asking cast members to kiss for the camera and I had no problem with it. Hello? I got to kiss Jessie!
