Fame News March 2022

Spring is in the air at Kids From Fame Media

As we continue celebrating the 40th anniversary of the U.S. broadcasts of Season 1 we focus on "A Musical Bridge" as our main episode of the month posting it's script, original story outline and shooting schedule.

Great news there is currently a countdown taking place on the Fame U.K. Reunion Page.  Counting down to Sunday 6th March when Pre-orders for the new Fame Live in Liverpool 2019  CD will start. Yes the CD is finally coming out. More details on Preordering next week when they are available.

A Number of people have asked if Now 80s will continue broadcasting Season 3 of "Fame" when  Season 2 ends. All we know is that it depends on the ratings for the first 2 seasons. If they are deemed good enough then they will carry on.  So keep watching and recording and showing your support. Hopefully this time next month we'll know for sure.

Some people have also mentioned about struggling with the Series link on Sky where Now 80s are running late and they miss the end of the episodes. Personally, I'm recording all the broadcasts of each episode, that way if one isn't complete I've still got the others as back up. Once I've got one that is complete then I delete the others. If you are just watching and not keeping them, I'd suggest recording the next programme too and that way you won't miss the end.

Also Debbie and her daughter Vivian Nichole Nixon have teamed up with the Oprah Winfrey Network to raise awareness of Women's health.

The Sun newspaper last Month featured an interview with Lee Curreri and Valerie Landsburg promoting Fame U.K. Reunion. Lee mentioned the cast are working on a Life After show. They already have a couple of scripts and are looking at it being filmed. Sounds interesting. (The Interview will be posted on Monday).

Fame U.K. Reunion also have a Go Fund Me age where people can donate money to the Claire house Charity.

Michael Cerveris appears as Watson in The Gilded Age on HBO which has been renewed for a second season.

Also Michael and his band Loose Cattle  will be playing in Chicago at Evanston Space on Sunday 27th March at 1.00pm.

Eric Pierpoint appears in a short film titled Later Daters which last month was selected to be screened at the Golden State Film Festival at The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Have a great Month,

Mark
