Michael Cerveris shared a message of thanks and encouragement for the brave front line workers at Mount Sinai. Michael wrote this guitar arrangement of one of Stephen Sondheim's most beloved songs, "Not While I'm Around" from the film Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

Jesse Borrego's current film "Phoenix Oregon" is available on Digital Download from today. You can order via the Phoenix Oregon Website

Launching the Pilot Podcast where they discuss the first episode of Fame is now available to listen too.  (Personally I tried but found it pretty annoying)

Eric Pierpoint is spending the lockdown working on a new book.

Although in Part 2 he gets a little distracted!

Lori Singer posted a silent video on Facebook saying

“Action speaks louder than words but not nearly as often “-M.T. - STAY SAFE ! Thank you ALL FIRST RESPONDERS ! You are our HEROES!-- - This is for the couple people that asked for a current iPhone shot - here you go - more film and more music soon- THANK YOU FOR ALL THE KIND WORDs today !!"

Lori also said:

I loved being on FAME- it was like being in high school - and many of us had actually gone to the real Performing Arts hi school in nyc -like me ! - I actually came into the PA school in nyc late - having just moved to nyc - just like my character Julie - my real mom always loved my character on FAME and cried when I left the show. I left to do Footloose Falcon and the Snowman - 20 other films and vr5 - my own tv show - FAME was always extremely special to me - the other “ kids” and I were extremely close during filming and we shared many great times filled with tremendous joy- both filming and performing on stage- we all felt like we made our own family on the soundstage at MGM - years earlier some of the wizard of oz filmed there as did pennies from heaven - Behind some of the sets we could find little circles of golden paper which had been used in filming a scene where pennies magically fall from the sky- .

On NETFLIX right now GOD KNOWS WHERE I AM is playing - I produced - narrate the lead and play the song at the end on it- hope you get to see it - it’s a touching film - but sad -
Thank you all for writing and remembering Julie Miller - she is a kind person and it was such a gift to be her for a couple of years - I left the show to do films - and play other characters And “ be wild “ and “ grow up” - thank you all for watching and liking FAME so much -

I had a wild life growing up- traveling from Texas to Oregon to New York City and from there traveling the world -it s a gift to act and to play scenes with great artists and crew - the thrill of being And living and experiencing life from the framework of another set of perspectives is deep . This artistic journey has been so rewarding and so amazing to touch people and share loves and disappointments together - to share our humanity in one story -Embody moments of a life that is so real they transcend the screen and live in the hearts of others is so humbling.

stay safe and stay cool !!! Love, your Julie always - Lori

In response to the death of George Floyd, Erica Gimpel had this to say:

"I put my body into it today... This afternoon I joined the march in Los Angeles co-sponsored by Black Lives Matter LA & Build Power and it was peaceful. Many people of different nationalities joined together, raising our voices, demanding that justice be served to honor the life of George Floyd.
Three hours later I’m home, and the news has images of cars being set on fire near the location I was at... That was not my experience earlier... and it bothers me that the media focuses in on when things erupt and not before. Because that’s when we lose sight of what the initial intention of march was for, which was Justice and the Honoring of Black Lives!

I joined the march today because I believe in the dignity of life... and the dignity of the lives of black people, my people... and that dignity, that worthiness, must be respected, protected, and valued...

Unfortunately America has a long standing illness, and that illness is racism. And it must be pulled out at the root. Therefore, a profound healing is needed. My determined prayer is that the the time has come for “the poison of racism be transformed into the medicine of co-existence.” Because If we are to survive this time period we have find a way to respectfully co-exist. I want to make that happen... Do you?
Good night all... May we find our way to the place where Justice and Peace can co-exist!"

Kecco Recchia who put the Paul Nose band together for the Fame U.K. Reunion has put together a video of his performance with Jesse Borrego for "The Other Side of the Road" which includes some behind the scenes footage.  Kecco said:

"Last year after playing with my band at the Fame U.K. Reunion I started collecting videos from fans at the concerts as I loved the idea of sharing our experience: the same songs from our different points of views.
Mine was privileged, especially when I did my duet with the incredible Jesse Borrego: in that very moment I realised i was living the perfect plot for a #Fame episode: only two years earlier in 2017 I was in the audience for the Italian reunion and now I was having the chance to be on the stage with these talented artists and wonderful people who have inspired my music path, the reason why I'm a performer!
I feel so blessed because on that stage I was not only a musician, but also a huge fan like everyone else who came to support our heroes and the important charity cause for Claire House.
Thanks for sending your videos and grazie to the wonderful people involved in this wonderful experience... they're many, but I'll try: CipoLello PatrunoPaolo IannattoneGioia FortiShelli MartelliStephanie Ann Carr and LMAJo Nagle, Mark PerkinsFranklin van LiemptJordan Cope, the heroes  Lee CurreriCynthia GibbLoretta ChandlerErica GimpelCarlo ImperatoValerie LandsburgPaul RosenbaumNia Peeples and of course the boss Sue Ellen
