"Manhattan" comes from the season 2 episode "Winners" where it is performed by Valerie Landsburg and Erica Gimpel.
The song was written by "Henry Gaffney" and was released on his debut album "Waiting For A Wind" which was released in 1976 on RCA records.
Henry also wrote other "Fame" songs: "Mannequin" and "There's A Train"
