This Month we continue reliving the magazines and press articles from 35 years ago. As the cast were on tour in Europe and Israel, Season 2 was being broadcast in he U.K. and the negotiations to keep "Fame" on the air for season 3 were underway with the BBC in the U.K. and RAI in Italy.

We will also be celebrating the 35th anniversary of the U.K. broadcasts of "Class Act", "Teachers" and "Beginnings".

 

We continue posting the Fame Picture Strip From Tops/TV Tops/Suzy Tops and have discovered that the Spanish version from Esther Magazine used the same stories and art work only translated into Spanish. We have a few of these so will also be posting the Spanish versions we have. If the picture strips were translated into other languages for other Countries then please let us know.

Janet Jackson has announced that she will return to arenas and amphitheatres across the U.S. this summer with an extension of her outstanding and in-demand State of the World Tour. The outing will showcase some of the legendary entertainer’s biggest dance anthems and powerhouse ballads that have become staples of the music icon’s career.

Produced by Live Nation, the newly announced U.S. dates will kick off July 11 in Austin, TX and visit cities across the country including Cincinnati, Hershey, Raleigh, Miami, and more. Tickets are on sale at LiveNation.com.

These dates are in addition to her previously announced headlining dates including the Essence Festival, FYF Festival, Panorama Festival, and Outside Lands.
