In the absence of actual paper copies we've just recreated the top of the charts this week for 4th September 1982. The Kids From Fame album is still at number one while the original movie soundtrack slips down to number 11. On the U.K. singles chart Irene Cara's "Fame" theme song is down to 10 but climbing 2 places up to number 5 is "Hi Fidelity" which will be its peak position. Also entering the chart at number 72 is Irene Cara's "Out Here On My Own".
