Fame News!

This Month is another short month as we will be away. So we will be sharing more Fame posters that we have collected from magazines from around the World.

Debbie Allen was back on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" last month starting production on the 13th season, which premiere's in the U.S. on September 22nd.  Debbie is back as executive producer, guest star and director. Debbie will be directing the first episode titled "Undo" and she tweeted a page from the script.

She also appeared on "Hollywood Today" and discussed how much she enjoys working at Shondaland.

2017 is Fame's 35th anniversary and we will be re-launching the Official Fame Magazine. Lovingly re-created to look just like the original it will now be titled "Kids From Fame Media Magazine". Issue 1 is already completed ready to be posted in January. However, in order to get a new issue ready for the start of each month we need your help.

We need Fame articles, reviews, competitions, personal photos and memories of the show and it's cast. We have gone to great lengths to make sure every cast member from all 6 seasons is included in some form and we'd like to continue that in future issues.

Can you help?

Stacey Weston used to run the Official Fame Fan Club and had a page at the back of each issue. We're looking for the new Stacey. Is that you?

Although there won't be a fan club we decided to keep the page. Would you like to write a regular column on Fame each month?

Fame Mail will be back so if when people contact me with their questions, as you do frequently, some of them will find their way into the Magazine. If you have any specific questions that you'd like answered for the magazine then contact me.

 
There will also be a new page from issue 2 about Fame fans. If you'd like to be featured. Then please contact me. You need to send a picture of yourself, ideally with a cast member or in your old fame t -shirts. If you don't have that then any picture will do as we realise not everyone has been lucky enough to meet a cast member. You also need to tell us about your love of Fame.

Erica Gimpel was one of the first to comment on the post when I posted it on Facebook saying:

"What a beautiful gesture... Thank you for creating this! Looking forward to seeing this 1st issue! Peace!"

Then I was contacted by Loretta Chandler who stated she wanted to help!
