This month is poster month and it's packed with lots of great rare posters from around the World, particularly from Spain, France, Greece and Germany. While sorting through the posters it would seem that Billy Hufsey was the most popular when it came to having his poster published in magazines.
Also this month is "Out Here On My Own" month. I originally planned to post a few versions of the song when we celebrated the Fame Movies 35th anniversary back in May. However as I researched it there were far more versions than I realised. So I thought it would need a whole month to share them. Many famous people have covered the song and there are some pretty unique versions that will come up throughout the month.
As it's a very busy month there's no Episode of the Month or pictures of the week but Ebay item of the Week and the final 30 year broadcasts of the season 4 episodes will continue, with "Reflections", "School is Out" and "The Heart of Rock n Roll".

In news of the new Fame TV Series, Nigel Lythgoe states that progress is being made, slow progress but progress after all. The first script has been completed, although there is a long way to go before it will be filmed. He states that the new series wont shy away from the gritty reality of the original 1980 Movie.
Plus here's a video interview where the new series is mentioned. It looks like it is really happening but it can't be Fame without the Theme Song!
