It Didn't Work Out That Way - Carlo Imperato & Valerie Landsburg - Song of the Week

 "It Didn't Work Out That Way" is a beautiful ballad duet from the season 4 episode "Parent's Week".  Written by Jude Johnstone and Daniel Cainer, it is performed by Carlo Imperato and Valerie Landsburg.

The original recording was performed by Homi and Jarvis on their 1983 album "Friend of a Friend". The original version had very different lyrics and a different meaning to the Fame version.

So far "It Didn't Work Out This Way has never appeared on a Fame album and has never been performed live in any of the Fame concerts.
