On 1st January 1985 Debbie Allen, Jesse Borrego, Cynthia Gibb, Carlo Imperato, Nia Peeples and Gene Anthony Ray, along with the Fame dancers and The Waters, took part in a special "Fame" day concert to raise money for Famine relief in Ethiopia.
