Rock n Roll World Album 1983


"Rock n Roll World" was the fourth album to be released by the cast of the TV series "FAME", in America. It was released in the U.S. on LP (AFL1- 4842) and Cassette (AFK1 - 4842) in 1983, on RCA Victor records. This album was not released in the U.K. or Europe although apart from the title track which came from season 3, the rest of the tracks, which came from season 2, were issued on the "Sing For You" album in the rest of the World.

The album was produced by Barry Fasman for The Entertainment Company. Executive producers were Charles Koppelman & Martin Bandier.  Lead Vocals were by Lee Curreri, Greg Evigan, Cynthia Gibb, Erica Gimpel, Billy Hufsey Carlo Imperato, Valerie Landsburg,  Gene Anthony Ray,  Lori Singer and The Waters. 

"Rock n Roll World" was released as a single in America to promote the album. It was also used in publicity promos for the 3rd Season of "Fame", which having been cancelled by NBC was picked up in first run syndication.  The Album is credited to Fame rather than The Kids From Fame as previous releases had been.
