To the person that wrote that comment.... she got married with Howard Hewett (first husband) in 1986 ( she was born in '64 and said she was 22 [1964+22= 1986], a year later in '87 her single 'Trouble' came out) So Carlo was her first love, and then after breaking up Howard came, and stayed with Nia I think for 4 years..they divorced in '93 or '94 so she WAS a virgin when she was with Carlo.
Read very carefully. She was married to Guy Ecker in '82, correct? That makes him her first marriage. Howard was second. She dated Carlo after she divorced the first man, Guy Ecker. She was NOT A VIRGIN when she went out with Carlo. I'm pretty sure they were having relations at that time; didn't they date for over a year? She was pregnant with her son Chris before she married Howard. Get your facts straight before you try to correct me. Sam is her fourth husband. Guy Ecker was her first...I hate to get so brash, but the facts are what they are.... She was born in '61, married Ecker in '82, divorced around '84, I think. Married Howard in '89 divorced in '93...you can wiki this it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this stuff out!
Oh, correction...she was married to Guy in '84 and they divorced in '86. That means she was STILL MARRIED when she began on the show...interesting. FYI: She went out on a date with William Zabka from the Karate Kid back in the late '80's. Her Wiki entry is crazy; lots of inconsistencies, but IMDB got it right.
