Carlo Imperato Tiger Beat Interview 1986

Carlo Imperato Interview from Tiger Beat Magazine 1986.

Hope - Gene Anthony Ray - Song of the Week

The lyric "That the world is coming apart just like a heart that's really broken." comes from
"Hope"  from the season 1 episode "Reunions". It is written by Paul Jabara and Bob Esty and is performed by Gene Anthony Ray

Hope! A light comes shining through.

Hope! It brightens the whole world.

Hope! She lets you know she cares.

Hope! She's never far behind.

Trust me and you'll find,

She's everywhere.

Always there in times of trouble.

Hope! Would never hurt you.

Hope! Would not desert you.

Hope! She'd never let you down. Whoa...no.

Hope! Without her you can't win.

But with her you begin,

To feel alive.

Through her eyes you'll see the sunrise.

Just look around you. There is trouble in the air.

Look at the people. Doesn't anybody care

That the world is coming apart just like a heart that's really broken.

Broken in two. She still comes through.

Hope! Would never hurt you.

Hope! Would not desert you.

Hope! She'll never let you down. (She'd never let you down.)

Oooh! Without her you can't win.

But with her you begin,

C'mon! Everybody! Start believing! Hope!

Just look around you.

You can set your spirit free.

Look, all you people.

You can change your destiny.

A world that's losin' control.

It has a soul that won't stop breathing.

Won't you start believing,

In hope!

Would never hurt you.

Hope! Would not desert you.

Hope! She'd never let you down.

She'd never let you down.

Hope! Would never hurt you.

Hope! Would not desert you.

Hope! She'd never let you down.

She'd never let you down.

She'd never let you down.

Hope!

Hope!

Hope!

Friendship Day Script Extended and Deleted Scenes

The first thing to note is that in the original draft of the script Coco was supposed to be in this episode but when Erica became unavailable they gave her part to Elizabeth Daily and Smokey.

The scene where Reardon asks Sherwood to read some of his poetry is extended slightly in the script.

When Reardon gets to class the scene where Bruno tells Julie about last year’s Friendship Day is extended.

The scene where Mrs Miller tries to talk to Julie is also slightly extended.

Doris' explanation of how he learned sign language and to read lips is different in the script.

At the party there is a deleted scene between Smokey and Marguerite, whose name the script spells incorrectly!

After Mrs Miller realises the truth about what Julie and Bruno have been planning there are some additional scenes before Leroy and Danny present the plaques.
