Makin It - Gene Anthony Ray and Billy Hufsey - Song of the Week

"Good enough has never been good enough for me
All the things I want in life never have come free
But even if it's a hard climb
You should know from the start

I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it, nothing's gonna stop me now  (nothings gonna stop me)
I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it, watch me

I'm gonna show you how
If there's a winner it might as well be me

I'm no good at leaving well enough alone
I've never been afraid to go for it on my own
Even when life is not fair
You can bet I'll be out there

I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it,
nothing is gonna stop me now (nothings gonna stop me)
I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it, watch me

I'm gonna show you how
If there's a winner it might as well be me

I'll make it to the top
Never gonna stop
Make it to the top
I'll keep on going

Make it to the top
Never gonna stop
Make it to the top
I'll keep on going
Keep on going, keep on going keep on going.

I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it,
nothing is gonna stop me now (nothings gonna stop me)I'm making it, taking it to the top
I'm breaking it open, I'm getting hot
I'm shakin it, watch me

I'm gonna show you how
If there's a winner it might as well be me
If there's a winner it might as well be me
If there's a winner it might as well be me".

Loretta Chandler on Stretching the Truth - Trivia of the week

In this scene, Dusty is caught stretching the truth. I have to admit, I had a problem with the truth growing up. I never felt I was enough being me, until my favorite music teacher busted me on a lie I told and made me see, it wasn't necessary. She reminded me that was already special and gifted enough and that my talent that would take me any where I wanted to go. I changed that day and started to believe in myself more. Still have doubts, but her words come back to me and encourage me to give whatever it is that I have... it's enough.

"Tomorrow morning the sun will come up
The darkness will fade, tomorrow morning
Without a warning in each of our hearts
The whole world will start again

A celebration
A song on the wind
I feel it begin
I see it shining
There is a promise
A sword in the stone
Make it your own
Tomorrow morning

Reach out so far your dreams touch the sky
Don't let your soul forget how to fly
And when it calls you just hold out your heart
The whole world will start again

Tomorrow morning the sky will be new
A different blue
tomorrow morning
As loud as thunder and brighter than a star
You'll be who you are tomorrow morning

Reach out so far your dreams touch the sky
Don't let your soul forget how to fly
And when it calls you just hold out your heart
The whole world will start again

Tomorrow morning  Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning The whole world will start again
Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning, Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning, Tomorrow morning  The whole world will start again Tomorrow morning Tomorrow morning

Looks like playtime is over,
All my innocence is gone.
I looked over my shoulder
and saw apart of me move on.

Comes a time you come of age,
Hold your breath, turn the page
On your own, around the bend.
Welcome to the mystery of childhood's end.

I need someone to turn to,
I could use a little help.
Maybe now when you learn to
Get the most out of yourself.

Comes a time you come of age,
Hold your breath, turn the page
On your own, around the bend.
Welcome to the mystery of childhood's end.

Loretta Chandler on the Dubbing Process - Trivia of the Week

In this scene, Dusty stands up to her father. The hotel room was a box the tech crew built from scratch and in the first half of this scene I was asked to report to the dubbing studio to re-record what Dusting said when passing out invitations. The dubbing studio at MGM is a large sound stage. An engineer is in the control room above me on the left and a large screen of the scene to be dubbed was playing in front of me. Each line that needs to be dubbed is marked with three clicks then you speak the line.

The Secret - Carlo Imperato - Song of the Week

The Secret - Carlo Imperato Song of the Week

The secret of life is in the living
Not just standing there and watching life go bye
And the secret of love is in the giving
You've got to open up by reaching deep inside
You know it's worth a try

The secret of life
Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love
When you're giving love away

The secret of joy is in the knowing
That everything will somehow turn out right
The secret turns out to be as simple
As living life just one day at a time
Love will make it rhyme
 The secret of life

Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love

When you're giving love away

The secret of life
Celebrate life in every way you can
Just jump right in and live it
Every single minute
The secret of love
Celebrate love each moment of everyday
There's one thing to be sure of
You'll end up having more love
When you're giving love away
