Fame News

Kids From Fame Media is back and the big news is so is "Fame"!

Last month news reports started to emerge that the Lifetime Channel had given the green light to a remake of the Fame TV series.

Nigel Lythgoe, who will executive produce, owns the rights and has been trying to get the project up and running since 2012.

Producers have said "Set against the backdrop of today's unprecedented access to the world of celebrity, it will expose the gritty struggle, heartache and pain endured in the search for stardom,"

Now it's been announced that Josh Safran will write the first script and will also executive produce. Safran has previously been the showrunner for the second season of "Smash".

The potential series, which is in the early stages of development, will be produced by MGM Television and A+E Studios.

No news on casting or when the series is likely to air but as soon as we know we'll pass on the information.

This month is Spanish Magazine month with lots of new articles and interviews with the cast from various Spanish Magazines from the 80s, with lots of great rare photos.

The episode of the month is "Parent's Week" from season 4 and posts for that start today!

Also we continue with the season 4 30th anniversary of the U.K. broadcasts for
"Who Am I Really", "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" "Tomorrow's Children" and "Reflections".
