Deadline Hollywood is reporting that MGM and "So You Think You Can Dance" executive producer Nigel Lythgoe are teaming up to reboot "Fame" as an all new scripted TV Series!
No word on as to when this would actually be broadcast with my guess being September/October 2013 at the earliest.
I would hope they would have some continuity with the original series and as Nigel Lythgoe and Debbie Allen are friends I would hope Debbie is involved in some capacity.
I would also hope that if the show was successful then MGM would want to cash in and finally release the remaining seasons of the original series on DVD.
Well, keep you updated when further information is known.
